If the world were watching...

what story would you tell?

These are the words you will see at PangeaDay.org.
I am looking forward to this inspiring event on May 10, 2008. There will be shown short movies from different individuals from all over the world.
Each own telling a different view, a different story - funny, provoking, entertaining, inspiring...

This project is a result of a wish of the TED prize winner in 2006, Jehane Noujaim.

What do you want to tell the world ?
What's your message you want to tell all of them ?

Create a video and submit it till February 15, 2008 as described on PangeaDay.org.
Afterwards the best clips will be selected.
On May 10 they will presented in eight or so official places (Cairo, London, New York, Rio de Janeiro,...).
But there are a lot of different other places, where public and private shows will take place.
Check out if there is already one near you.
Some TV channels will show the program, it will be available on the internet...
AND YOU can host your own show !!!

Do you know a company that will sponsor a video wall ?
Organize a public viewing in your area!
Tell your friends about this event!
Create a clip and submit it!

And then watch the worlds vision :-)

Do you ask the right questions ?

Hi out there :-)

A couple of days ago I watched the movie "The Notebook". I enjoyed it a lot, as most of the unbelievable 47,279 people who voted for this love story on the IMDB (internet movie database).

But I do not only want suggest you a nice love story...

If there would not have been a certain question, I think would not have thought to write a post about this film.
What kind of question?

A real powerful question! But to release its power, someone has to be honest to himself. Otherwise the question may cause more damage than good. Yes, if you are not honest with the answer to this question, you will hurt yourself.

Here is the question, Noah (Ryan Gosling) is asking Allie (Rachel McAdams) :

"What do YOU really want? Not your fiance, not your mother, not your father, not your friends, but YOU, what do YOU want?"

Most people think way too much about what others may want that they do, instead of just becoming clear what they want!
I am sure that it is important to ask what others want! Especially your partner, your wife or husband, your kids or your best friends, if you are somewhere together. But First you have to become clear what you want to do with your life. And then there is enough space to discuss and find possibilities to put these tracks together.
But if you loose your track, than it could become very hard to find the way back to it. Than you feel lost, unsatisfied, frustrated - and if these bad feelings are strong, than you may get sick... Also it will not be fun to stick around with you. Your friends will feel that there is something wrong with you. You will feel it but maybe don't even recognise the reason.

Please do yourself, all the people you love and the whole world a favor and ask the question: "What do I really want in my life?"

This is YOUR Life !!!

Yes this is your life, it is not the life of you parents (ok, they are responsible during your childhood and youth - but they are also responsible to release you, that you can make it on your own).

Do you own your life?
Do you know, what you want to do with your life?

I am looking forward to your commencts :-)

To Your Success :-)
